Plankton, full name Sheldon J. Plankton, is the tiny, scheming owner of the Chum Bucket and the long-running rival of Mr. Krabs in SpongeBob SquarePants, Nickelodeon's animated series about life in Bikini Bottom. The chant plays on that rivalry by giving the show's smallest villain a grand, royal welcome, a joke that works even for viewers who only know Plankton as a meme. Shared in edits, reaction videos and short-form posts, it has stayed popular because the over-the-top praise fits almost any moment of mock triumph.

The All Hail Plankton sound is a chant from SpongeBob SquarePants praising villain Plankton, used in memes to mock-worship a schemer or celebrate a petty win.
This clip captures a chorus of voices chanting 'All hail Plankton' in an exaggerated, almost royal tone, turning the tiny restaurant owner into a mock emperor for a few seconds. The chant is rhythmic and upbeat, with overlapping voices that build a feeling of sudden, absurd devotion, making it instantly recognisable even without the picture. Because Plankton is famously small, scheming and usually defeated, hearing him praised so grandly creates a comic contrast that lands best as a punchline, a reaction or a sarcastic coronation after someone pulls off a petty, overconfident plan.
