Coldmirror, the German YouTuber Kathrin Fricke, became an internet cult figure with her comedy fandubs, most famously 'Harry Potter und ein Stein'. She later applied the same irreverent redubbing style to Marvel's The Avengers from 2012, replacing heroic dialogue with everyday German absurdities like demanding a bratwurst with mustard. The line took on a second life on German meme pages, Discord servers and WhatsApp soundboards, where it is spammed as the ultimate hunger reaction. Its staying power comes from that clash between blockbuster drama and a very ordinary craving.

A German comedy dub line from Coldmirror's Avengers synchro where a character demands a bratwurst with mustard. Fans use it as a food meme in chats and edits.
The clip is a short, punchy German voice line lifted from Coldmirror's comedic redub of Marvel's The Avengers, in which a character bluntly demands a bratwurst with mustard. Delivered with exaggerated, deadpan hunger in a thick colloquial tone, the line lands as pure absurdity against the film's epic superhero stakes. It sounds like a dubbed movie quote recorded with playful overacting, and it instantly deflates any dramatic moment, turning tension into laughter as listeners picture a hero pausing mid-battle for street food.
