The clip comes from Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance, the tactical role-playing game developed by Nippon Ichi Software and released in 2015. The Clergy is a recurring generic class in the series, a healer-type unit with exaggerated anime voice acting, and this short scream is one of her battle reactions. Like many Disgaea voice lines, it was ripped and shared on user soundboards where listeners labeled it as screaming. It endures because the over-the-top delivery fits fail compilations and RPG memes far beyond its original game.

The Clergy scream from Disgaea 5, a short high-pitched battle shriek from the tactical RPG. Used for funny death, fail and panic moments in gaming edits.
This is the short battle scream of the Clergy class from Disgaea 5, lasting under two seconds. It is a sharp, high-pitched female shriek that rises fast and cuts off abruptly, the kind of voice line that plays when a healer unit takes a hit or is knocked out. The tone is more comical than frightening, halfway between a panic yelp and an anime-style cry. In a video it lands as an instant punchline, making a small fail feel dramatic and overblown. Viewers hear the frantic energy immediately and read the moment as playful chaos rather than real danger.
