Dr Disrespect is the sunglasses-wearing, mullet-sporting gaming persona created by streamer Guy Beahm, who built a huge audience with high-energy battle royale streams on Twitch before moving to YouTube. His over-the-top champion character, famous for the motto Violence, Speed, Momentum, turned ordinary matches into theatrical performances and made his voice clips instantly recognisable to gamers. Fans began clipping and sharing his entrances, taunts and reactions across social media and soundboards, where they became shorthand for confidence and dominance. The persona remains popular because the delivery is so distinctive and easy to drop into gaming edits, reaction videos and memes.
