The clip comes from Underpants, a fan parody take on Undertale's Genocide route, with its April Fools ending playing Sans's iconic bad time threat for laughs. By swapping the wording to bad tom and crediting the joke to Sanes, the video leans into the misspellings and low effort humour that define many Undertale parody edits online. The line spread as a standalone soundboard clip because it is instantly recognisable to fans, yet absurd enough to work out of context in memes, streams and short reaction videos shared between friends.

The Have a Bad Tom sound is a short Sans parody line from the Underpants Genocide Ending April Fools video, used for meme edits and reaction jokes.
Have a Bad Tom twists the famous threatening warning associated with Sans into a deliberately silly parody line. The clip is short and deadpan, with the joke landing because the delivery sounds serious while the wording is slightly wrong. That mismatch turns a tense boss moment into pure comedy, making viewers expect danger and get nonsense instead. It works as an instant punchline, undercutting dramatic scenes, fake boss fights and overconfident characters. The brevity keeps it punchy, so the line hits, the audience recognises the reference, and the edit can move on without explanation or setup needed at all.
