Happy Tree Friends is an adult animated web series known for pairing cute animal characters with sudden, violent slapstick, and Petunia is its cheerful skunk character. Clips of her screams have circulated for years on soundboards and in fan edits, where the contrast between her sweet design and the panicked sound makes them instantly recognisable. The K.O. version is especially popular for knockout moments because it is short, loud and easy to recognise, so creators keep reusing it for gaming fails, cartoon parodies and reaction videos.

Petunia's high-pitched K.O. scream from Happy Tree Friends, a cartoon shriek used for funny knockouts, fails and exaggerated reactions in memes and edits.
This is Petunia's panicked scream from Happy Tree Friends, captured at the moment she is knocked out. It starts sharp and high-pitched, then wobbles into a frantic, almost squeaky cry that sounds both terrified and cartoonishly over-the-top. Because Petunia's voice is so bright and expressive, the scream lands as comedy rather than horror, instantly signalling that something has gone badly wrong for a cute character. Played over a fall, a slapstick hit or a sudden defeat, it makes the moment feel more dramatic and funnier at the same time, turning a simple knockout into a memorable punchline.
