The sound comes from Lab Rats, the Disney XD sitcom about bionic teenagers living with billionaire inventor Donald Davenport, and is linked to the episode Perry 2.0. In the show, Davenport's phone ringtone becomes a small recognisable detail, the kind of everyday sound fans notice and remember long after an episode ends. Soundboard users later isolated the short clip so it could be replayed on its own, and it has since circulated mainly as a novelty ringtone and a quick reference in fan edits, keeping its appeal tied to nostalgia for the series rather than to a meme trend.

Davenport's ringtone from Disney XD's Lab Rats, taken from the season two episode Perry 2.0. Fans use it as a phone alert and in edits about the inventor.
This clip captures the phone ringtone used by Donald Davenport in Lab Rats, a short electronic jingle that plays when his phone goes off in the episode Perry 2.0. It is bright, brisk and instantly recognisable to fans, with a clean, almost futuristic tone that fits Davenport's high-tech inventor persona far better than a standard phone buzz. Lasting only a few seconds, it lands as a quick burst of sitcom familiarity, sparking recognition before the scene moves on. That brevity is part of its charm, making it feel like a small in-joke for viewers who know the show.
