Ghostface is the masked killer from the Scream films, brought into Mortal Kombat 1 as a guest fighter, where his familiar voice and horror-movie mannerisms fit the game's roster of fighters. The did you miss me line plays on his habit of taunting victims before striking, a trait that made the character famous long before the game. Short clips of his MK1 dialogue spread through gaming edits and social videos, where creators reuse the line for returns, comebacks and surprise appearances. Its mix of horror recognition and playful menace keeps it useful well beyond a single match.

Ghostface asks 'Did you miss me?' in Mortal Kombat 1, a short taunting voice line used by creators for surprise returns, comebacks and villain reveals in edits.
This is a short, menacing voice line in which Ghostface delivers the question did you miss me in a calm, teasing tone that feels both playful and threatening. The delivery is slow and deliberate, with a slight rasp that makes the masked killer sound amused rather than angry, as if he already knows the answer. Hearing it instantly creates tension, because it signals that a character who was gone, hidden or underestimated has returned. In edits it works as a reveal moment, turning an ordinary entrance into something sinister and memorable, and it leaves viewers waiting for what happens next.
