The Touch was written and performed by Stan Bush for the 1986 animated film The Transformers: The Movie, where it became closely associated with Optimus Prime and the Autobots' heroic stand. Decades later, the track found a second life online, where short clips are paired with transformations, reveals and underdog victories in videos, memes and edits. Its instantly recognisable chorus and rising energy make it shorthand for a hero arriving at exactly the right moment, which keeps it popular long after its original release.

The heroic Transformers anthem The Touch by Stan Bush, linked to Optimus Prime transforming into action, used for epic reveals and triumphant moments.
The clip captures the soaring, guitar-driven opening of The Touch, the 1980s rock anthem forever tied to Optimus Prime and the Autobots. Driving drums, bright synthesizers and a confident, rising vocal build a feeling of unstoppable momentum, as if a hero is stepping forward just as the battle turns. It sounds bold, bright and deliberately over the top, which is why it lands instantly even in a few seconds. For viewers, it signals that something ordinary is about to become heroic, turning a simple reveal into a triumphant, fist-pumping moment.
