This slap comes from Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures, the animated television series built around the classic arcade hero Pac-Man and his battles with ghosts. In the show, exaggerated cartoon impacts like this one underline physical jokes and fast, silly confrontations. Once clipped from the series, the short effect found a second life on soundboards and in meme edits, where its instant, recognisable smack is easy to drop into comedy videos. Like other cartoon chase sounds, it survives because it needs no context to be funny: one sharp hit tells the whole joke.

A short slap sound from Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures, used in cartoons and comedy edits for a quick funny hit or surprise reaction moment.
This is a brief, punchy slap from Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures, lasting just over a second. It opens with a sharp, cartoonish smack and a quick follow-through sound that feels exaggerated rather than realistic, the kind of impact used to sell a joke in animation. Played on its own it lands instantly, giving a scene a sudden jolt of physical comedy without any dialogue getting in the way. Viewers tend to react with a wince and a laugh at the same time, which is why it works so well as a punctuation mark for a fail, a prank, or an unexpected comeuppance.
