Scav contact lines come from Escape from Tarkov, where scavs are the armed scavengers players meet, fight or become during raids, and their short callouts warn allies that an enemy has been spotted. Numbered clips like this one are lifted from those in-game voice lines and shared on soundboards, where Tarkov players recognise them instantly even outside the game. The clip endures because it is so specific: a single alert that can turn any gaming edit, reaction video or meme into a raid moment without needing extra explanation.

A short Escape from Tarkov scav voice line warning of contact, used in gaming clips and memes to signal an enemy spotted nearby during a raid.
This one-second clip captures a scav from Escape from Tarkov calling out contact, a clipped, urgent voice line that sounds like a rough warning shouted over battlefield noise. It is short, punchy and instantly recognisable to players, with no music or buildup, just the alert itself landing hard and fast. In a video it creates a sudden jolt of tension, as if danger has just appeared off camera, and viewers who know Tarkov immediately picture a raid going wrong. That mix of realism and brevity makes it perfect for jump cuts, failed stealth attempts and moments when a plan falls apart in seconds.
