SEGA has used a sung choir ident since the early 1990s, when the drawn out SEEEGAAA became one of gaming's most recognisable startup sounds on Mega Drive and Genesis. The version heard here is the updated recording introduced with Sonic Frontiers in 2022 and used on later releases. Clips of it spread through trailers, gameplay uploads and soundboards because it instantly identifies a SEGA game before any character appears, and fans reuse it for restorations, fan projects and nostalgic edits.
