The clip circulates as a short messaging audio, a format where short, odd everyday recordings are forwarded between friends long before they reach wider meme pages. Its title simply describes what the sender heard: a strange noise from a video card, with the single-word reaction 'help' attached to it. That framing is part of its appeal, turning a mundane hardware fault into a shareable joke about PCs failing at the worst moment. It has stayed in use because the sound is instantly recognisable to anyone who has heard a computer struggle.

A strange, buzzing noise coming from a graphics card, often shared as a funny reaction when a computer starts making unexpected sounds during gaming or work.
This clip captures the odd, high-pitched whine and rattling buzz that a struggling graphics card can make when it is pushed hard, stretched out over about ten seconds so every squeal and stutter is easy to hear. It does not sound like a clean effect from a library; it sounds messy, mechanical and slightly alarming, which is exactly why people pass it around. Played on its own it makes listeners wince and laugh at the same time, as if their own PC is about to give up, and in a video it instantly signals that something technical has gone very wrong.
