The ssssuuus spelling stretches the slang word sus, short for suspicious, which spread widely through Among Us and meme culture in the early 2020s. This soundboard version combines that drawn-out callout with a clap, so creators get both accusation and sarcastic applause in one short clip. It circulates in reaction edits, gaming videos and short-form posts where someone is caught lying, cheating or acting strangely. Its appeal is speed and clarity, as viewers understand the joke immediately even without context from the original scene or speaker.

A drawn-out ssssuuus followed by a clap, used as a suspicious reaction sound for calling out something shady, awkward or obviously sus in edits.
This clip pairs a long, hissing ssssuuus with a single sharp clap, turning suspicion into a punchline. The stretched sus builds tension as if someone has just been caught, and the clap lands like a sarcastic well done at the exact moment of exposure. It sounds dry and close, with the emphasis on the teasing delivery rather than applause. Viewers instantly read it as a callout, which makes the moment feel funnier and more accusatory without needing any extra dialogue or explanation on screen at all.
