The Chase is a British television quiz show broadcast on ITV since 2009 and hosted by Bradley Walsh. Contestants answer general knowledge questions for money, then face a professional quizzer known as the Chaser in head to head rounds and a Final Chase against the clock. Its short studio cues, including lock in and timer sounds, became familiar to regular viewers and are now reused in fan edits, quiz videos and memes to signal a confirmed answer under pressure.

The short lock in sound from ITV quiz show The Chase when the Chaser confirms an answer, used for tense decisions, game moments and quiz edits.
This is the brief lock in cue heard on The Chase when the Chaser sets an answer during the Final Chase. It is a tight, electronic confirmation tone lasting under a second, sharp enough to cut through dialogue without needing music underneath. The sound feels decisive and slightly ominous because viewers associate it with the moment the pressure shifts to the team. In edits it works as punctuation, marking a choice has been made and there is no going back, turning an ordinary decision into a game show moment.
