While the original recording behind this clip is unknown, it circulates as a user-uploaded meme sound built for maximum volume, tagged with loud and snoring by the people who shared it. Its appeal is simple: a three-second scream anyone can drop into an edit without needing context from a show or film. It belongs to the same family of exaggerated vocal reactions as the classic scream meme, and because some uploads frame it as a snore, it also gets used next to heavy snoring gag sounds. That flexibility keeps it alive in fail compilations, wake-up pranks and jump-scare edits.
Über diesen Sound
A very loud, stretched-out 'aaauuuuugggghhhhh' scream used as a meme reaction sound. Creators drop it over fails, jump scares and over-the-top wake-up clips.
This clip is a single, stretched-out vocal scream that starts on a long 'aaah' and rolls into a guttural 'uuuggghhh' before fading out, lasting just over three seconds. It is recorded close and very loud, with a raw, slightly distorted edge that makes it feel like someone yelling right into the microphone. The effect on a viewer is instant alarm followed by laughter, because the volume and the drawn-out delivery are so exaggerated they read as comedy rather than real pain. It lands best as a shock punchline, snapping attention to whatever just happened on screen.
