The exact origin of this clip is not clearly documented, and it circulates online as a short user-uploaded soundboard effect rather than a recognisable line from a film or show. Its title and the stink-related reaction it invites suggest it was made for quick meme edits, where a barefoot step and a cartoon smoke puff can sell a gross joke in under three seconds. That brevity is why it keeps appearing in prank clips, cartoon-style edits and reaction videos, where one small sound can finish a visual gag without explanation.
Über diesen Sound
A short cartoon sound effect of a barefoot step paired with a puff of green smoke, used for stinky, gross-out and prank moments in memes and short videos.
This short clip pairs a soft barefoot footstep with a rising, cartoonish puff that reads as green smoke on screen, landing somewhere between a silly stink joke and a playful prank cue. The step is light and unhurried, the puff is airy and exaggerated, and together they create a visual gag in audio form: something smelly, sneaky or slightly gross has just happened. Viewers tend to react with a laugh or a wrinkled nose, which makes it useful as a quick punchline rather than background noise. It works best when the joke is already visible, letting the sound confirm the mess without needing any words.
