Black Knife appears as track 30 on the Deltarune Chapter 3 and 4 soundtrack, composed by Toby Fox following the release of those chapters in 2025. The piece is associated with the Roaring Knight, a mysterious armored figure central to the game's prophecy and Dark World conflict. As clips and playthroughs from Chapters 3 and 4 spread online, fans isolated the theme for edits, remixes and soundboards, valuing its recognisable opening rush. It remains a shorthand among Deltarune players for a Knight encounter and a major story escalation.

Black Knife is Toby Fox's intense boss theme from Deltarune Chapter 3 and 4, used for Roaring Knight edits, boss fights and dramatic gaming moments.
Black Knife is a fast, dark orchestral and electronic boss theme composed by Toby Fox for Deltarune. Layered strings, pounding percussion and sharp synth motifs build relentless tension as the melody loops higher, matching the Roaring Knight's sudden, overwhelming presence in battle. There is no vocal or dialogue, just urgent instrumental pressure that makes a scene feel dangerous and out of control. Listeners often feel the shift instantly, from curiosity to dread, because the track signals a powerful enemy has arrived and the fight will not be easy or forgiving.
