Cynthia is the Champion of the Sinnoh region introduced in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl in 2006, and her piano theme became famous for signaling one of the hardest battles in the series. The track returned as a surprise in Pokemon Black and White, where she can be found in a house in Undella Town. That unexpected encounter turned the opening piano notes into a meme on YouTube and TikTok, where creators use it as a jumpscare for any sudden, overpowered arrival.

The piano theme that plays before battling Champion Cynthia in Pokemon Black and White, used as a jumpscare sting for unexpected boss encounters.
This is Cynthia's entrance piano theme from Pokemon, a tense solo piano piece that starts quiet and ominous before building into rapid, dramatic arpeggios. In the games it plays in a random house in Undella Town and again before her Champion battle, instantly signaling a fight far harder than expected. The sudden shift from calm exploration music to intense classical piano creates instant dread and recognition for players. Online it works as a jumpscare because the first notes alone tell the audience something powerful and terrifying is about to appear.
