The sound comes from Streamlabs OBS, where it is the default audio for a follower alert, so many streamers heard it first while setting up their channel notifications. Because it ships with the software, it became a familiar cue across live streams, especially on Twitch, where a short notification sound signals a new follower without interrupting the broadcast. Creators also reuse it outside streaming as a simple ding sound effect for follow moments, reaction clips, and short videos, which has kept the clean alert in regular use.
Über diesen Sound
The default Streamlabs follower notification sound, a short two-second chime that plays when someone follows a live stream. Streamers use it for new follows.
This is the short alert that plays when a new follower joins a Streamlabs OBS stream, a clean two-second notification chime designed to be heard over gameplay, music, and commentary without overwhelming the broadcast. It has a bright, polished tone, a quick rise and a gentle finish, so it catches attention immediately and then gets out of the way. For viewers, it marks a small moment of recognition; for streamers, it is a satisfying cue that someone has chosen to follow, adding a little energy to the stream each time it sounds.
