Deku is Izuku Midoriya, the green-haired hero at the centre of My Hero Academia, while sussy baka is an internet mash-up of Among Us slang for suspicious and the Japanese word baka, meaning fool or idiot. The phrase spread through TikTok and short anime edits, where creators paired well-known characters with the joke to label them as suspicious in a deliberately childish way. It stuck because the combination is easy to recognise, easy to reuse, and instantly frames an otherwise ordinary reaction as a joke.

The Deku Sussy Baka sound is a My Hero Academia meme clip built around the viral sussy baka joke, used by creators for funny anime edits and reaction moments.
This short clip puts Deku from My Hero Academia at the centre of the internet's sussy baka joke, turning a familiar anime hero into the target of a teasing, suspicious-character punchline. The tone is light, mocking and deliberately over-the-top, with the Japanese word baka used less as a real insult and more as a playful label for someone acting strange. For viewers who already know the meme, the joke lands immediately, making a scene feel goofy, awkward or caught-out without needing dialogue, context or explanation.
