Bilal Göregen is a Turkish street musician and darbuka player whose outdoor performances spread widely on YouTube and TikTok around 2020. He became internationally recognisable when a clip of him playing Ievan Polkka was paired with a bobbing cat, turning his rapid drumming style into a shared visual joke. Short excerpts like this dul dul chant were then reposted as loopable sounds, detached from the full performance but keeping his distinctive rhythm and call, and creators continue using them whenever a scene needs instant musical momentum.
Über diesen Sound
Dul Dul is a short darbuka rhythm and chant by Turkish street musician Bilal Göregen, used for vibing cat edits, dance loops and meme intros.
This clip captures Bilal Göregen repeating a rolling dul dul chant over fast darbuka drumming, the sound that made his street performances instantly recognisable online. The rhythm is tight and bouncy, with the hand drum driving forward while the repeated syllables act like a hook you can loop without thinking. It feels cheerful and slightly hypnotic, turning an ordinary moment into a head nodding groove. Viewers tend to smile and tap along because the energy builds in seconds, making even a still image feel like it is dancing in time with the beat.
