Dunggeulge Dunggeulge is a simple Korean children's song whose title means round and round, a phrase that matches its looping, circular melody. Its bright, nursery-rhyme character made it easy to lift into short videos, and its association with Squid Game gave it a second life online, where creators use the innocent tune to set up ironic or suspenseful moments. That contrast between a playground song and a high-stakes story is why the clip still appears in edits, reactions and themed challenges.
Über diesen Sound
The Korean round-and-round song from Squid Game, sung in a bright, childlike chorus that turns playful in edits and tense in reaction clips.
This clip captures the Korean children's song Dunggeulge Dunggeulge as heard in Squid Game, with its simple, looping melody and cheerful, singalong rhythm that repeats the round-and-round refrain. The voices sound bright and innocent, almost like a playground chant, while the steady, unhurried pace gives it a strangely calm surface. In an edit, that innocence does much of the work: it can make a scene feel light and nostalgic, or, when paired with a tense reveal, suddenly uneasy and ironic. Listeners recognise the tune instantly, even without understanding the Korean words, because the repetition makes it catchy and easy to place.
