The line comes from Epic Rap Battles of History, the YouTube series that pits famous historical figures against each other in rap battles, with Albert Einstein facing Stephen Hawking. The battle pairs scientific boasts with schoolyard insults, and this particular verse became a favourite because it turns a huge cosmic number into a personal put-down. Clips from the battle spread through YouTube edits, reaction videos and soundboards, where users reuse short verses out of context. It remains popular for science jokes and nerd rivalries because the insult is instantly understandable even without knowing the full battle.

A short rap battle clip from Epic Rap Battles of History where Einstein insults Stephen Hawking with a particle joke, used for nerd roasts and science memes.
The clip is a punchy rap verse delivered in a confident, rhythmic flow over a driving hip-hop beat, with Einstein taunting Stephen Hawking about the particles in the observable universe before landing a classic your-mama insult. The delivery is fast, cheeky and deliberately nerdy, mixing real science vocabulary with playground trash talk, so it lands as both clever and silly at the same time. Listeners recognise the exaggerated scientist rivalry instantly, and the sudden switch from cosmic scale to a personal joke makes the punchline hit harder, especially when it cuts off before Hawking can reply.
