The clip is associated with Dr. Eggman, the long-running villain from the Sonic franchise, and is best known online by its Portuguese line about coming to make an announcement. Shared as a very short meme audio, it spread through Brazilian gaming and meme communities, where creators reused it as a ready-made opening for jokes and fake proclamations. Its appeal is the contrast between the formal, self-important delivery and whatever silly reveal follows, which is why it remains a useful setup sound for short videos rather than a clip tied to one specific scene.
Über diesen Sound
A short Portuguese clip of Dr. Eggman saying he has come to make an announcement, used by creators to introduce a joke, reveal or twist in memes and videos.
This is a very short spoken clip, under two seconds long, in which a deep, theatrical male voice delivers the Portuguese line 'I came to make an announcement' with deliberate, villainous confidence. The delivery is slow enough to feel important, yet brief enough to work as a punchline setup, so the listener immediately expects something absurd, shocking or funny to follow. Because the voice sounds like a classic cartoon antagonist making a formal proclamation, it adds instant drama and irony, turning an ordinary reveal into a staged event and making the joke that comes next land harder.
