Funtime Freddy is the animatronic star of Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location, released in 2016, where he appears as a twisted, ventriloquist-style version of the original Freddy Fazbear. His jumpscare became widely shared through gameplay videos, Let's Plays and short horror edits, as players recorded their reactions to being caught. Because the sound is instantly recognisable to FNAF fans, it is still reused alongside other FNAF jumpscare scream clips in memes, TikTok edits and YouTube compilations that need an immediate, unmistakable scare.

The Funtime Freddy jumpscare sound from Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location, a harsh scream and screech used in horror edits, reaction clips and FNAF memes.
This is the sharp, terrifying noise that plays when Funtime Freddy catches the player in Sister Location, a burst of distorted screaming layered over grinding metal and a sudden electronic shriek. It starts without warning and peaks almost instantly, so the shock lands before the listener can brace for it. The scream feels close and inhuman, while the mechanical grind underneath reminds you that Freddy is a twisted animatronic, not a person. Played loud, it makes viewers flinch, jump, or laugh nervously, which is exactly why editors use it to punctuate a reveal, a failed challenge, or a prank gone wrong.
