Gibby, played by Noah Munck, was a recurring character on Nickelodeon's iCarly, known for his shirtless entrances and over-the-top physical comedy. A clip of him falling from the ceiling became a popular reaction sound after fans began pairing it with gaming and fail videos, especially Fortnite edits where a player drops suddenly from above. Its short length, clear impact and instantly recognisable Nickelodeon character helped it spread across TikTok, YouTube Shorts and soundboards, where it remains a quick shorthand for an unexpected fall.

Gibby falling from the ceiling in iCarly, turned into a Fortnite meme sound. Creators use the short clip for sudden falls, surprises and chaotic edits.
The clip captures Gibby from iCarly dropping suddenly from the ceiling, with a loud thud, a startled yell and a burst of cartoonish chaos as he lands. It is short, abrupt and deliberately over the top, cutting straight from quiet setup to noisy impact in just a few seconds. The contrast between the calm moment before and the sudden crash makes it feel like a pratfall caught on camera, and viewers react with instant surprise followed by laughter. Because the fall is so unexpected and physical, it works as a visual punchline even without context, turning an ordinary scene into a moment of slapstick shock.
