Gawr Gura is a shark-themed virtual YouTuber from Hololive who became widely known through short, shareable stream clips and fan edits. Her distinctive voice and playful delivery make even a single shouted name easy to lift out of context and reuse as a reaction sound. Scuba Steve fits that pattern perfectly, pairing her shark persona with a simple underwater reference that viewers instantly get. The clip has since circulated on soundboards and in short-form edits, where its one-second length makes it ideal for quick jokes, transitions, and ocean-themed moments.
Über diesen Sound
A short voice clip of Hololive VTuber Gawr Gura saying Scuba Steve, often used in funny edits and reaction videos for a sudden underwater joke.
This is a brief, energetic voice clip of Gawr Gura, the shark-themed Hololive VTuber, cheerfully calling out the name Scuba Steve in her distinctive high-pitched voice. Lasting just over a second, it lands as a quick, playful shout rather than a full sentence, with a bright tone that feels instantly meme-ready. Listeners usually recognise Gura straight away, which makes the clip work as a sudden punchline, a greeting for ocean or shark jokes, or a lighthearted interruption in an edit. Its brevity keeps the joke sharp instead of letting it overstay its welcome.
