The clip comes from The Anime Man, a YouTube creator known for anime discussion videos, and is taken from his Top 10 Anime Series of All Time video, where the April Fools greeting is delivered. Once clipped, it circulated as a short soundboard sound that people could play, share and reuse for April 1 jokes, rather than as a longer piece of commentary. Its appeal has stayed simple: it is recognisable as a prank greeting, needs no setup, and fits neatly at the end of a fake announcement, which keeps it useful each April Fools season.
Über diesen Sound
A short voice clip of The Anime Man wishing listeners a happy April Fools, taken from his Top 10 Anime Series of All Time video and used for prank reveals.
This is a brief, upbeat voice line in which The Anime Man delivers a cheerful April Fools greeting in his familiar conversational YouTube style, with a playful, slightly mischievous tone that lands like a joke being revealed. The delivery is quick and direct, lasting just over two seconds, so it works as a sudden punchline rather than a long setup. Listeners hear the greeting clearly and immediately recognise the prank context, which makes it feel lighthearted and teasing instead of mean-spirited. It is the kind of clip that makes a reveal feel instantly funny, especially when it follows a fake announcement or an unexpected twist.
