Nutty is one of the main characters in Happy Tree Friends, the dark comedy animated web series known for cute animals meeting absurd, slapstick disasters. As the show's candy-obsessed squirrel, Nutty is constantly bouncing with excitement, and his drawn-out OOooOO became a recognisable part of that hyperactive personality. Fans began clipping the sound for reaction videos and meme edits, where its silly, escalating tone works as shorthand for sudden excitement or a sweet tooth taking over. It remains popular because it is instantly recognisable to fans and needs no context to land.
Über diesen Sound
Nutty from Happy Tree Friends lets out a high-pitched OOooOO squeal, a cartoon sound effect used in edits and meme videos to show excitement or chaos.
This five-second clip captures Nutty, the hyperactive squirrel from Happy Tree Friends, bursting into his signature OOooOO sound. It starts as a rising, squeaky warble, almost like a cartoon character revving up with excitement, then stretches into a goofy, wavering yelp that sounds both thrilled and slightly unhinged. The voice is high, fast and unmistakably animated, with no background music or dialogue to distract from it. Played over a reaction or a sudden twist, it instantly signals sugar-rush energy, over-the-top enthusiasm or a plan going gloriously off the rails, making a short moment feel sillier and more chaotic.
