Paragus is a Saiyan character from Dragon Ball and the father of Broly, first appearing in the 1993 film Dragon Ball Z: Broly – The Legendary Super Saiyan. His strained, mocking laugh has been clipped by Japanese fans, who often write it as ふぁ～はははは with ww for laughter, and shared as a short reaction sound online. Anime editors keep reusing it because the exaggerated delivery works even without context, signalling a scheming antagonist in under three seconds and fitting easily into parody edits, streams, and soundboard collections.

Paragus laughing sound effect from Dragon Ball, featuring his drawn-out maniacal laugh. Used in anime edits and meme videos for villain reactions.
This short clip captures Paragus bursting into a long, theatrical laugh that starts with a breathy sigh before spilling into rapid hahaha sounds. The delivery feels smug and unhinged, like a villain who thinks he has finally won. Because Paragus is Broly's father in Dragon Ball, the laugh carries that classic anime antagonist energy rather than friendly amusement. Played on its own it instantly turns an ordinary moment into a dramatic reveal, making the speaker sound overconfident, mischievous, and just a little bit dangerous for comic effect.
