Illidan Stormrage is a major character from Blizzard's Warcraft series, a night elf demon hunter imprisoned underground for ten thousand years after the War of the Ancients. His story continued in Warcraft III and World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, where his confrontation at the Black Temple produced his most quoted lines. Clips of his speeches spread through gaming forums, YouTube edits and soundboards, turning the imprisonment line into a shorthand for any absurdly long wait, banishment or dramatic comeback in gaming culture.

Illidan Stormrage saying imprisoned for 10000 years from World of Warcraft, used for dramatic entrances, boss fights and exaggerated waiting memes.
This clip captures Illidan Stormrage delivering his famous line about being imprisoned for ten thousand years, spoken in a deep, gravelly and bitter voice full of resentment. The delivery is slow and theatrical, letting the huge number land with weight before the confrontation builds. It sounds ancient and vengeful, like a warning from someone who has waited an eternity to settle a score. Viewers instantly feel the drama and mock seriousness, which is why a short gaming quote can make an ordinary delay or return feel epic, threatening and funny at the same time.
