The clip originates from Harlem Nights, the 1989 period crime comedy written and directed by Eddie Murphy, and circulates online under its id3 artist credit to that film. The short insult was lifted from dialogue and repurposed on soundboards as a standalone reaction for the classic ass kisser situation. Search interest around ass kisser memes, kiss butt meme and butt kisser meme keeps it in rotation, because the phrase is universally understood, needs no context, and can be dropped into school, work or gaming edits without explaining the original scene.
Über diesen Sound
A short voice clip from Harlem Nights where a character delivers the blunt line kiss ass, used in memes and edits to call out brown-nosers and suck-ups.
This is a tight 3.8 second voice bite taken from the comedy film Harlem Nights, built around the shouted insult kiss ass. The delivery is loud, blunt and slightly drawn out on the final word, which gives it a punchy, confrontational snap. There is no music or background effect behind it, just clear dialogue that lands like a callout. Viewers instantly read it as accusation rather than praise, the kind of line you drop on someone caught flattering a boss or teacher. That directness is why it works as a reaction, it says the rude thought out loud in under four seconds.
