Blue Archive is a school themed mobile role playing game first released in 2021, known for its chibi students and lighthearted academy stories. Noa and Koyuki are two of its student characters, and this pan beating moment circulated among fans as a short extractable joke detached from its original scene. Shared on soundboards and in fan edits, the repeated bonks became shorthand for playful punishment, which helped it persist beyond the game's own community into wider anime meme use.

Noa hits Koyuki with a frying pan in this Blue Archive clip, with repeated metallic bonks used for comic punishment and anime edit moments.
This clip captures the sharp, ringing clang of a frying pan hitting again and again in quick succession. Each strike lands with a bright metallic bonk and a short echo, turning a simple kitchen prop into an exaggerated cartoon punishment. The rhythm builds as the hits continue, making the moment feel frantic rather than violent. Paired with Blue Archive's cute character designs, the harsh pan sounds create a funny contrast that reads instantly as scolding, chaos, and slapstick discipline in fan edits and short videos.
