WRYYYY originates in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure as the battle cry of Dio Brando, the series' main early villain, and became one of anime's most imitated screams. Fans first shared it in forum posts and early video edits, writing it out as a long string of Rs and Ys whenever a character went berserk. It later spread as a classic scream meme across YouTube, Discord and soundboards, where short distorted versions like this Lemon take are used for comic rage rather than a real fight scene.

The Lemon Wryyy sound is Dio Brando's famous stretched scream from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, used for rage, chaos and over the top anime meme edits.
This clip is a short, high pitched take on the famous WRYYYY scream, a drawn out yell that rises in intensity and sounds strained, frantic and slightly distorted. It lasts just a few seconds, starting abruptly and holding that unhinged energy until it cuts off. The delivery feels less like a normal shout and more like a villain losing control, which is why it lands as both funny and intense. Placed over a face, a fight scene or a sudden failure, it instantly turns the moment into exaggerated anime chaos.
