Lux, full name Luxanna Crownguard, is a light mage champion in League of Legends, the multiplayer online battle arena game released by Riot Games in 2009. Her laugh emote became famous within the community because players could trigger it repeatedly in lane, turning a cute voice line into a psychological tactic. Clips of the laugh spread through YouTube montages, Twitch streams and soundboards, where it is now used far beyond League as a generic gaming taunt for teasing friends and opponents alike.

Lux's high-pitched giggling laugh from League of Legends, the Light Lady's iconic taunt that players spam to tilt enemies and celebrate funny plays.
Lux's laugh is a bright, trilling giggle that rises and falls in rapid bursts, unmistakably cheerful and a little bit mischievous. As the signature laugh emote of Luxanna Crownguard from League of Legends, it sounds light and magical on the surface, but in a match it carries a playful taunt. Hearing it looped after a missed skillshot or a lost fight instantly turns frustration into comedy for one side and pure annoyance for the other, which is exactly why it became one of the most spammed and recognizable laughs in the game.
