Noob Saibot is a long-running Mortal Kombat character, and this clip comes from Mortal Kombat 9, the 2011 fighting game that rebooted the series. In the game, his dark, shadow-based design made his reactions stand out, and short voice clips like this fall scream were quickly lifted by players for soundboards and edits. It has stayed in use because it is instantly recognisable to fighting-game fans, yet works without any context, giving any fall, fail or sudden drop a ready-made, over-the-top reaction.

The fall scream of Noob Saibot from Mortal Kombat 9, a sharp yell as the shadow ninja drops. Creators use it for failed jumps, falls and gaming fails.
This is a short, sharp scream from Noob Saibot, the shadowy ninja in Mortal Kombat 9, captured at the moment he falls. It starts abruptly, rises into a strained, panicked yell, and cuts off quickly, giving it a sudden, cartoonish sense of disaster. The voice sounds distorted and hollow, matching the character's wraith-like presence, while the brief length keeps the panic feeling immediate rather than drawn out. Played on its own, it lands as a comic jolt, turning a simple drop, slip or failed stunt into something that feels far more dramatic and over the top than it really was.
