Noob Saibot is a long-running Mortal Kombat character, a shadowy ninja who returned as a playable fighter in Mortal Kombat 9, released in 2011 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. His dark, echoing voice lines and cries became a signature part of his in-game presence, and short clips like this scream were later shared on soundboards and reused in gaming videos. It remains popular because it instantly signals darkness, surprise and villainy without needing any dialogue, making it easy to drop into edits, memes and reaction clips.

The MK9 Noob Saibot scream sound effect from Mortal Kombat 9, a sharp, eerie cry used in edits, memes and gaming videos for dramatic reveals.
The clip captures Noob Saibot's distinctive scream from Mortal Kombat 9, a dark, echoing cry that rises quickly and cuts off with a chilling, almost ghostly edge. It sounds less like a normal shout and more like a shadowy figure tearing through the arena, which makes it instantly recognisable to fighting game fans. In a video, it lands as a sudden jolt of menace, turning an ordinary reveal, jump scare or failed attempt into something dramatic and slightly unsettling. The short length keeps the impact tight, so the scream hits hard without overstaying its welcome.
