Neco-Arc first appeared as the chibi cat parody of Arcueid Brunestud in Type-Moon's Tsukihime and became a fan favourite through the Melty Blood fighting games, where her nya meowing became her signature. The clip spread through anime forums, early meme edits and soundboards as a shorthand for cute trolling, and it is often grouped with other cute anime voice clips like tuturu from Steins;Gate. Renewed interest in Melty Blood and Neco-Arc memes on social video kept the sound circulating well beyond its original visual novel audience.
Über diesen Sound
Neco-Arc's nya nya nya catgirl meow from Tsukihime and Melty Blood, a short high-pitched anime voice clip used for cute reactions and meme edits.
This is Neco-Arc repeatedly meowing nya nya nya in her squeaky, mischievous catgirl voice, drawn out just long enough to sound both cute and teasing. The delivery is bright, bouncy and deliberately exaggerated, with each nya landing like a little paw tap. As the chibi parody form of Arcueid Brunestud, she turns a simple cat sound into instant character comedy. Viewers hear it and immediately read playful chaos, smug cuteness or trolling affection, which is why the tiny clip hits harder than dialogue twice its length and sticks in the head after one play.
