NTT Nishinippon, also called NTT West, is the western Japan arm of the NTT telecommunications group and has aired television commercials in Japan for decades. Short excerpts from Japanese CMs often migrate to soundboards because the formal, cheerful delivery sounds amusing when stripped from product context. This 2-second tag has been saved under the tags NTT, Nishinippon and CM, and is shared as a novelty clip rather than for its original advertising meaning.
Über diesen Sound
A short 2-second NTT West Japan television commercial sound clip originally broadcast as a CM catchphrase, used as a random Japanese audio meme drop.
This is a very brief clip taken from an NTT Nishinippon TV commercial, the Japanese telecom company covering West Japan. In just over two seconds it delivers a clean, corporate jingle voice in the style of a classic CM tag, bright and instantly recognisable to Japanese TV viewers. Its short length and slightly dated advertising tone make it funny out of context, which is why it circulates on soundboards as a random, non sequitur Japanese sound that drops like a punchline with no setup.
