The Spanish phrase pajaro gritando simply means screaming bird, and that plain description is how the clip spread on soundboards and in short video edits. No single film, show or creator is reliably credited as its source, so its identity comes from sharing rather than an original scene. It sits alongside clips like the chicken on tree screaming sound in edits built around animals making human sounding noises. It also belongs to the wider scream meme format, where an oversized shriek is pasted onto a small, ordinary moment for comic contrast.

A very loud bird screaming for five seconds, known online as pajaro gritando. Creators use it as a sudden scream effect for chaos, jumps and overreactions.
This clip is five seconds of a bird letting out an extremely loud, high pitched scream that keeps going longer than expected. There is no music or speech underneath, just the raw shriek filling the whole recording and pushing into distortion at its peak. The volume hits suddenly, so the first second feels like a jump scare, while the length turns it into comedy. Viewers read it as pure panic and chaos, which is why a calm scene instantly feels out of control once this scream is laid over it.
