The exact origin of this clip is unknown; it arrived on the soundboard as a user upload tagged simply 'peido', the Portuguese word for fart, and lasting about two and a half seconds. Short fart clips like this one have circulated for years across meme soundboards, group chats, and prank videos, where the joke is the timing rather than the source. Its wet, cartoonish texture makes it a favorite for editors who need a quick gross-out punchline. The clip stays popular because it is short, instantly recognizable, and needs no setup to get a laugh.

A wet fart sound effect about 2.5 seconds long, popular in prank videos and meme edits. Play it online or grab the MP3 to drop into your next joke.
This is a short, wet-sounding fart captured in a single burst of about two and a half seconds. It opens with a low, bubbling rumble and finishes with a sharp, squeaky tail that gives it a cartoonish edge, which is why editors reach for it when they want a gag that lands instantly. The clip is dry and close-miked, so it cuts through music and dialogue without needing much processing. Played at full volume it gets a shocked laugh; ducked underneath a scene it becomes the punchline nobody saw coming. It is pure juvenile comedy in audio form, and it works because the timing is already baked in.
