The rat dance became a familiar TikTok and YouTube trend through short clips of rats edited to dance in time with upbeat music, with remix versions giving the joke a faster, more shareable sound. Viewers searched for it alongside related dance memes, including Among Us dance clips, because the same bouncy rhythm and simple visual gag worked across different characters and formats. It spread through reposts, compilations and sound reuse rather than a single original video, which is why new remixes keep appearing. Its appeal is simple: the contrast between serious dancing and ordinary rats never gets old.
Über diesen Sound
A bouncy remix of the viral rat dance meme for TikTok edits and funny animal videos. Creators drop it under dancing rats, Among Us clips and trend moments.
This short remix takes the silly rat dance meme and gives it a faster, punchier beat that feels made for short-form video. The rhythm bounces along with a bright, looping melody, while the playful energy keeps the focus on the rats themselves as they shuffle, spin and bounce in time. It sounds light, a little chaotic and instantly recognisable to anyone who has seen the trend on TikTok or YouTube. The effect is pure comedy: even a simple clip of animals moving suddenly feels like a choreographed performance, and viewers are primed to laugh before anything else happens on screen.
