Reinhardt shouting Stop Hammer Time from Overwatch, clipped from a Yahiamice hero video, used for sudden stops, fails and big impact edits in gaming clips.

This is a short Overwatch voice clip of Reinhardt, the armored tank hero, belting out the line Stop Hammer Time in his deep, booming German accented voice. The delivery is loud, theatrical and instantly over the top, turning a simple command to halt into a full heroic announcement. Because Reinhardt wields a massive rocket hammer, the pun lands immediately and feels tailor made for him. Placed over a freeze frame, a sudden block or a character charging in, it makes the moment feel bigger, sillier and more dramatic than the action alone would justify.

Profi-Tipp

Cut to black or freeze the frame exactly on Stop, then let Hammer Time hit as the character, prop or Reinhardt play crashes into view. Keep the clip at full volume and avoid music underneath, because the booming delivery carries the joke alone.

Weitere Informationen

The clip comes from Yahiamice's Overwatch edit built around heroes telling viewers to stop, isolating Reinhardt's turn for its hammer pun. Reinhardt Wilhelm is Blizzard's German tank hero in Overwatch, released in 2016, famous for his Rocket Hammer and barrier. The wording riffs on MC Hammer's 1990 hit U Can't Touch This, where Stop Hammer Time became a lasting pop culture catchphrase. Shortened to under two seconds, the line spread on soundboards as a standalone reaction, easy to drop into gaming edits without any setup or context needed.

It is a two second Overwatch voice clip of tank hero Reinhardt shouting Stop Hammer Time. The line plays on his Rocket Hammer weapon and the famous MC Hammer catchphrase, making it a loud, funny halt command for edits and soundboards.

Where does the sound come from?

The clip is taken from Yahiamice's edit where every Overwatch hero asks you to stop. Reinhardt's version stood out because his character carries a giant hammer, so his delivery turned a simple stop request into the most memorable joke in the sequence.

How do creators use this sound?

Creators place it on freeze frames, sudden blocks, hammer hits and over the top entrances. It works best with no setup, letting Reinhardt's booming shout interrupt the action for a split second before the clip cuts away or the impact lands.
