Devil May Cry 5, released by Capcom in 2019, grades combat with a style ranking system that rewards varied, aggressive play. As the rank rises through grades like Cool and Stylish, the announcer calls each new tier, with SS announced as Sick Skills before the top SSS rank. Players clipped the call because it perfectly captures the game's flashy attitude, and it spread through combo videos, montages and meme edits as a ready-made way to praise any impressive skill moment online.

The Sick Skills announcer call from Devil May Cry 5, shouted when you hit SS style rank. Players use it to hype up impressive combos and stylish plays.
This is the short announcer shout from Devil May Cry 5 that plays when your combat style rank climbs to SS. A loud, energized male voice calls out the phrase in under two seconds, with the kind of over the top delivery the series is known for. It lands like an instant reward, turning a clean combo into a moment that feels celebrated by the game itself. Even outside gameplay, that burst of praise makes any skilled move, lucky play or confident edit feel bigger and more triumphant for the viewer watching it.
