The line comes from The Boys, the superhero series in which Soldier Boy, the hardened veteran supe from an earlier era, confronts Homelander, the show's most powerful and self-obsessed hero. In the Portuguese-language version, the exchange is remembered for its direct challenge to Homelander's belief that he is above everyone else. Fans of the series reuse the short clip online, especially in Portuguese-speaking meme and reaction communities, because it compresses that rivalry into one quotable moment and still works without needing the full scene.

Soldier Boy tells Homelander that he is not God in this intense clip from The Boys, often used in reaction videos and memes about arrogance and power.
This short clip captures a tense confrontation from The Boys, with Soldier Boy delivering a blunt rebuke to Homelander in Portuguese, telling him that he is not God. His voice is firm, weary and confrontational, carrying the weight of an older soldier who refuses to be intimidated by a younger, more powerful supe. The line lands with a sharp, deflating force, cutting through Homelander's god complex in a single sentence. For viewers, it feels satisfying and confrontational at once, like watching unchecked arrogance finally meet someone who will not back down, which is why it works so well as a dramatic reaction.
