The Soldier is one of the nine playable classes in Valve's Team Fortress 2, the team shooter first released in 2007, and the character voiced by Rick May became known for loud, patriotic battle cries. Clips of his voice lines have circulated for years in machinima, Garry's Mod videos and meme edits. This new weapons scream was shared onward as a standalone reaction sound because it captures that established persona in seconds, and it remains useful whenever creators need an instantly recognisable gaming voice to mark excitement about gear.

This clip is the Soldier from Team Fortress 2 letting out a drawn-out, overjoyed scream about new weapons. His gravelly voice jumps straight into a full-volume yell, with the kind of patriotic enthusiasm the character is known for, turning a simple item reveal into a huge event. There is no music or build-up, just pure excitement delivered at maximum intensity. The contrast between a normal announcement and his extreme reaction is what makes it funny, and listeners instantly understand it as celebration, hype and disbelief rolled into one short burst.
