Billy Butcher is the foul-mouthed leader of the Boys in Amazon's The Boys, a superhero satire that premiered in 2019, with Karl Urban playing the character on screen. Short voice clips of the character circulate on soundboards and in fan edits because his blunt, cynical attitude is instantly recognisable even without context. Fans reuse them alongside other The Boys characters such as Homelander to build rivalries, reaction memes and parody trailers, and the clips remain popular because the show's dark humour and anti-superhero tone keep generating new edits.

Billy Butcher voice clip from The Boys, used by fans and editors for gritty reaction moments, sarcastic comebacks and dramatic edits in short videos.
This short Billy Butcher clip captures the blunt, gravelly delivery that defines the character in The Boys, with a dry, working-class British edge and a tone that lands somewhere between a threat and a joke. In just over four seconds, the voice cuts through a scene without needing music or explanation, which is why it works so well as a reaction: it sounds confident, unbothered and slightly dangerous. Dropped over a video, it instantly changes the mood, making an ordinary moment feel confrontational, funny or deliberately over-the-top, and it gives the viewer a familiar face and attitude to attach to the punchline.
