Thomas Shelby is the lead character in Peaky Blinders, the BBC crime drama that ran from 2013 to 2022 with Cillian Murphy in the role. After the final series, fan edits recut his quietest scenes into sigma male montages, pairing his controlled manner with phonk and slowed beats. The format spread widely on TikTok and YouTube Shorts from 2022 onward, where Shelby became a shorthand for silent confidence alongside other lone-wolf figures. The clip remains popular because the character needs no explanation to signal composure under pressure.
Über diesen Sound
Thomas Shelby sigma edit sound from Peaky Blinders, used for cold, confident walk-ins, stare downs and alpha male meme edits on TikTok and Reels.
This is a short sigma edit clip built around Thomas Shelby from Peaky Blinders, pairing his calm, flat delivery and icy stare with a dark phonk-style beat. The sound feels slow and controlled rather than loud, with a heavy bass pulse under a quiet, threatening confidence. It does not rely on a joke or a shout, which is why it lands as cool instead of funny. Viewers instantly read it as power, detachment and self-control, the classic lone-wolf mood that made Shelby the face of sigma edits.
