The sound comes from An American Tail: Fievel Goes West, the 1991 animated sequel where Fievel Mousekewitz heads to the Old West. Tiger, the large vegetarian cat voiced by Dom DeLuise, became a fan favourite for his soft personality and loud, cowardly reactions. Clips of his screams were later shared on soundboards and in meme edits, separate from the film. His pain yell survives because it captures old-school cartoon acting in two seconds, giving modern short videos an instantly readable injury gag without needing any dialogue or context.
Über diesen Sound
Tiger's pain yell from Fievel Goes West is a short cartoon scream used for funny injury moments, slapstick fails and over-the-top reaction edits.
This is Tiger the cat letting out a sudden, high-pitched yell of pain from Fievel Goes West. The cry starts sharp and surprised, then stretches into a wobbly, theatrical wail that is far too dramatic for whatever hurt him. Because Tiger is a big, gentle character, the contrast between his size and the squeaky, panicked sound makes it instantly funny. It lands like a classic cartoon injury noise, turning a small bump or sting into a huge moment and making viewers laugh at the overreaction rather than feel sorry for him.
